ATSF Ga-123 HOPPER CAR
This car was placed in New Mexico unit train coal service. This car kit consists of resin castings to make the car structure. You will need to make the ladder attachments and handrails on the car ends. The interior bottoms of these cars are not detailed but filled with lead encapsulated in resin for providing excellent tracking. We are providing the car as retrofitted by Santa Fe to ruggedize the car - triangle braces at each end of the car - the model needs the same structure.
I built these in styrene once upon a time. They are too light without considerable weight. I'll see if I can find my load patterns and provide that as an option - or you can do your own.
